Performing High Quality Spirometry in Primary Care. The eLearning Pathway.

We are pleased to introduce our Performing Spirometry eLearning Pathway, designed specifically for healthcare professionals working in primary care who need to develop the knowledge and practical understanding required to perform high-quality spirometry.

This course has been developed in line with current UK spirometry standards and guidance, supporting clinicians to understand the correct procedures, quality requirements, and interpretation principles needed to perform spirometry safely and effectively in practice.

Unlike our live training programmes, this pathway is delivered entirely online through structured eLearning, allowing you to start learning immediately and progress through the material at your own pace.

What the course includes:

The course combines a range of structured learning resources designed to support both knowledge development and practical understanding, including:

  • Short narrated teaching videos

  • Structured eLearning modules

  • A detailed Spirometry Standard Operating Procedure

  • A Spirometry Protocol

  • A Competency Assessment Framework

  • Knowledge checks to support learning

Together, these resources provide a clear step-by-step guide to performing spirometry in primary care.

Designed for Primary Care.
Aligned to National Standards.

While aligned to national standards, these programmes are not hospital-based respiratory physiology courses repackaged for general practice. They have been created specifically for the realities, pressures and practicalities of primary care.
