The Assessment and Management of Cardiovascular Disease course will help you to gain a solid understanding of the role of Primary Care based Health Care Professionals in the care of people diagnosed with Angina, Atrial Fibrillation, Stroke, Heart Failure and Chronic Kidney Disease
You will gain an understanding of the critical importance of accurate clinical history taking and learn how to carry out detailed disease specific patient reviews.
In addition, you will learn how to analyse data collected at review in such a way as to improves the quality of life, slow down disease progression and reduce the risk of future adverse events.
You will gain an understanding of national and international disease specific guideline recommendations and will recognise potential barriers to the successful implementation of these guideline recommendations.
